During their 40-year career, SCORPIONS sold over 100 million albums and received many awards, such as the World Music Award and several Echos--the German equivalent to the Grammy. Today they still play sold-out venues around the world. Not long ago, 152,000 South Americans came to 15 SCORPIONS concerts between Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City. Their song "Wind of Change" has become an anthem for the fall of the Iron Curtain. The tour will launch in the band's home country Germany in May. After that, they will be touring through North America before they continue their journey through five other continents until 2012.
sad it's the last oneReview Date: 2010-09-07 Rating: 10 out of 10If you love the Scorpions you'll love this album. I'm so sad that this is their last one because they haven't lost their touch. It has a good mix of rockers and ballads. The songs sound like classic Scorpions and I loved it.
ReviewsBetter than your wildest expectationsReview Date: 2010-08-24 Rating: 10 out of 10I was raised listening to Scorpions and to be honest I stopped listening since Acoustica. Friends told me that they did a new album, so I got it having no expectations i put it and started listening, I was happy.
This album is the last Frontier for a band that gave us joy and meaning in their music.
They sold around 150 Million copies worldwide and they deserve the respect and this album gives them the closure they deserve.
Sting in the tail is the 17th and the last album, Starting from the first song, you will feel the heavy style has come back once again. Sly and Loreli is the ballads we all expect from Scorpions. The good die young is a duet with Tarja Turunen (Ex-Nightwish) which is performed nicely.
5 stars for a band that could still be standing until now with such a great music.the "voice"Review Date: 2010-08-24 Rating: 10 out of 10although not the best album ever, it really matters not at all to me. if the scorps released a c/w or punk album, i'd buy and listen just to hear klaus's voice.Classic European Metal, Scorpion's BestReview Date: 2010-07-03 Rating: 10 out of 10This will surely be counted amongst the Scorpion's top albums.
